Esta es una de las largas canciones de Helloween, hace parte de lo que suele llamarse The Keeper's trilogy, que comprende "Halloween", "Keeper of the seven keys" y "The king for a 1000 years". Ésta primera parte narra la historia de una persona a quien, en Halloween, llega el demonio a pedirle que elija entre el paraíso o el infierno, si la última opción es tomada, a cambio le son ofrecidas pasión y gloria, sin embargo, el protagonista comienza a aclamar ayuda pues no quiere convertirse a su bando. Halloween es una de las melodías más representativas de la banda y si bien hay una versión acortada que fue creada con el fin de facilitar su distribución en radio, es la versión larga la que evidencia toda la grandeza de la canción.
Inicialmente compartimos el audio de la canción en su versión original (larga), posteriormente incluimos el videoclip oficial con la canción acortada para alcanzar 5 minutos (8 minutos de diferencia). En este último la banda se encuentra interpretando la canción en la mitad de un bosque lleno de niebla en donde parecen surgir numerosos fantasmas o espantos en noche de Halloween.
